Cinquez Park in Jupiter Florida is scheduled to open in August. For real this time! It is several months behind schedule, but as I walked the area this week it looks like an August opening might be reality.
Cinquez Park is located north of the Indiantown Road and Center Street intersection (across from Walmart). The Town acquired the space in 2008. The park will have 2 phases. Phase I is the dog park, parking area, restrooms, walking paths, and a small lake. Phase 2 will be a playground and possibly a tree house incorporating the large Banyan tree that is an iconic landmark to Jupiter.
The dog park will have shade trees, benches, and be divided into sections - 1 for large dogs and 1 for smaller dogs.
You can learn more and see aerial photos of the space at the Town of Jupiter's website
